[SCCC] springless key

I have used Brown Bros Iambic keys since 1958 so I'm spoiled. I agree
with Dan about the
non-linear tension. I had the Vibroplex Brass Racer (magnetic) and the
throw arms were very
light so the magnetics would work. Therefore the keyer has very little
'feel'... Spent most of my time
adjusting the key. Haven't adjusted my Brown Bros in about 3 years an my
spacing is very close...
I tried a Bencher and spent most of my time recovering the parts as the
spring kept flying across
the shack....I would go for the Vibroplex single lever or Kent single
lever.
