Comments:
My first contest as single operator assisted, first time ever sending spots, 
and first time at home sending with the logging program.  Everything worked 
well and I managed to avoid any serious confusion.  This was a lot of hours 
and my rates were horrible, but it was the most fun I've had in a dx contest 
for a long time.  I did not like the multi-op assisted experience in the 
Sweeps but this was much better and I think it makes things more enjoyable 
for a small station that can't do much running (all contacts were S&P for me 
in this one).  I worked two new countries, and five new ones on 80m.  They 
may not look like much, but the 40m and 80m totals are excellent for me in 
this contest and will encourage me to try harder on those bands in the 
future.  Since I started in 1996 I have only a handful of African Qs on 80m, 
and on Friday night I worked Morocco on the second call into a large pileup. 
That was a career highlight.  A lot of Europe was heard but not loud, and I 
could only work France, Finland, and the Azores.  Thank you K6NA for the 
zone 3 mult on 15m.
