[SCCC] SCCC Gathering Tomorrow, October 6 in Fullerton

SCCC member, Marty Woll, N6VI, will be the speaker at tomorrow night's
meeting of the Western Amateur Radio Association in Fullerton. Marty's talk
will be on the 2003 C5Z CQWW contest expedition. The expedition included
SCCCers W6XD, K6AM, N6AA, N6ZZ(SK), AB6BH, and K6JL. Come see what happens
when evrything goes wrong, and everything else breaks.

As the following WARA meeting notice announces, the meeting is in a private
room in the Fullerton Sizzler restaurant.

SCCCers will join with WARA members to hear the talk.

Our 2003 CW Worldwide DX Contest operation at C5Z presented numerous and
formidable obstacles that required a team effort to surmount.  This is a
case study in "making it work - no matter what" with lessons that apply as
well to emergency communications as they do to contesting.
