You have cause and effect backwards.  Even if the Earth could be steered to 
cause it to plummet into the sun, mankind could still have no influence on 
the sun's fluctuations except for one temporary smudge on the sun's surface. 
Except for the effects of deforestation, man's influence on the Earth's 
climate is equally tiny -- man's output of greenhouse gasses is 
infinitesimal compared to natural sources.  "Global warming" is beginning to 
be recognized as bad science.
