This is a good address. I talked to Susan yesterday afternoon and as you
might guess, she is beside herself…

Thanks for finding the spelling mistake: my Christmas cards make it there
every year anyway...

I spent the last two days with the family. I do not think its really hit
yet: conversations were half teary-eyed and the other half filled with
laughter.

Yesterday happened naturally and was a peaceful passing for all.

Susan has a good family support structure locally and lots of friends
looking after her. She deeply appreciates the outpouring of affection for
Tom from everyone.

There should be information on services very soon.

*Copied from the El Cajon ARC mailing list*

I'm very sorry to report the passing of Tom McDuffie, KM6K and manager of
the San Diego HRO store. As many of you know Tom suffered a stroke while
driving to work last Friday morning. While Tom apparently managed to pull
his car safely to the roadside unfortunately it was several hours before
emergency personnel discovered him in a coma behind the wheel. No doubt it
will take a long time for each of us to move on from this loss so I would
like to recommend taking a moment to remember Tom at the next event of this
group be it a club meeting or other group gathering. May he rest in peace.

KM6K, SK

Gary
