The propagation gods always give us something unexpected. The great feeding 
 frenzy on 20 into EU was balanced by an almost total void into Central 
Asia. No  Z 17 or 23, and only one Z 18. Maybe they all decided to stay on 40. 
Conditions  on 15 not as good as in WW SSB, with a strange mix of southern 
and northern EU,  but no eastern. 80 and 40 were superb; the dragon was 
present for a while up  around 7.100, but eventually went back into his den. For 
me, 10 was not as good  as it was for stations further south, in LA or SD.
 
Murphy came before the contest started and stayed until the end. Was able  
to work through most of the indoor problems, but much still needs to be done 
 with the antennas. Many program crashes, WL 10.21, and even a couple of 
complete  computer crashes. Fortunate to recover all of the log after the 
entire  computer went down Sunday afternoon.
