Contesting:
2009 - 61 contests and 17,091 Q's. Lotw now has 83,121 Q's with 30,255 confirm Q's
My Acom 2000A amplifier now has 625 hours on it (both DXing and Contesting)
Most of the contests were in the Category: Assisted.
I have found going on 68 years old, that my average operation time has drop to 22 hours in
the bigger contest. So I want to make the maximum points possible in the time period.
The second reason I operate in the Assisted category - my antenna system is at 40 feet.
80 % of the Q's are S&P.
During the CQ WW SSB and CQ WW CW contest, I made a study how much the W6KK
cluster helps. I found about 20 % of my score comes from the cluster. During these two
contests I also Announced over 115 countries to the cluster.
In the last 6 years I made the following Q's:
29,388 SSB Q's
16,650 CW Q's
26,715 RTTY Q's. (Started using RTTY in 2005
