Comments:
This contest season started in typical "VictorCharlie" fashion. First the AL1200 gave me fits.
Switched the key line and used the BU the FL2000. This wasn't that much a setback...was
only driving the '1200 to 700W which is loafing. The '2000 puts out 500 but is a huff'en and a-puff'en.
Back on the air and ??? nobody answers me??? I check everything and I can't find problem???
Calling and calling...searching and searching..nada When I'm just this close to throwing in the towel I find it.
I messed with the MMTTY setting and must have inverted my wangdiddle or whatever.
I'm thinking my late (X) wife is haunting the shack.
There was LOTS of activity and of couse 20 was the center. 40 was the stand-out. With a nice EU
opening 2 hrs before sunset and another just before sunrise. Didn't hear a single JA until the last hrs
on 20. Worked all 50 states but missed most of the rarer VE secs. Had an N6.../VY1 call me but lost him
in the QRM. Found him at the end but he was S&P. I did very little S&P running 99% of my Qs which
counts for the lower multi count. Evil spirits or not had lots of fun.
On to NAQP but first I need to get a witch-doctor in here!
