[SCCC] QSL via the buro?

When I was last active in 2002 sending a flood of QSL cards via the bureau
after a contest was a normal routine for me. I printed the labels, stuck
them on a card, sorted them, and sent them to the ARRL Outgoing Bureau. I
did this because I wanted the guys who answered my CQ's to have something in
return for giving me points.
Now, with LOTW and eQsl, I am wondering if anyone still does this? I am now
able to instantly "reward" those stations who gave me points with a credit
towards ARRL and CQ awards by uploading my logs to the aforementioned
databases.
I am working on my DXCC Honor Roll (currently 239 confirmed), 5BDXCC, and
the DXCC Challenge. LOTW will cheaply help me take care of the ARRL awards
that I am seeking. I will QSL direct for all time new ones and later for
band fills as I get nearer to 5BDXCC.
I initially figured that I would just respond to cards sent to me in the
exact fashion that it arrived. I am now wondering if it might me more
nostalgic to continue sending a mass mailing of cards via the bureau, or is
it more of a hassle for all involved?
