CQ WW season opens with the RTTY event next weekend! There is a webinar
tomorrow covering all aspects of the contest and we have room for 900 more
participants.  ;>)  Details below.

Rules Translations -- We need help translating the rules into other
languages. Thanks to Kosta, SV1DPI, for translating the 2010 CQ WW RTTY
Contest Rules into Greek. Who else will step up to translate the Rules into
other languages? Contact me for the English MS Word file of the rules and
send back the translation either in MS Word or as a PDF file.

MixW Users -- Please review the information on the web site for MixW users.
There are instructions about how to setup MixW before the contest so that
you can submit a proper Cabrillo log after the contest.

Webinar: "A Look at the CQ WW RTTY Contest" -- Join us tomorrow (19
September, 1900-2030Z), where we will discuss various aspects of CQ WW RTTY
and answer any questions:

	* History of CQ WW RTTY
	* Distinctive rules from the CW/SSB CQ WW events
	* Score Database
	* Plaques and Certificates
	* Logging considerations
	* Log Check Reports
	* Stories and Pictures

Register and get your log-on at
https://www2.gotomeeting.com/register/460874371
If you can't make it, the recording will be available at
http://www.pvrc.org/webinar/webinars.htm

Certificates & Plaques -- Awards for the 2009 CQ WW RTTY Contest were all
mailed out this summer. If you'd like to sponsor a 2010 plaque, including
new ones not sponsored before, contact K4GMH at k4gmh at arrl.net.

Scores Database -- Take a minute to surf through the great database setup by
AA5AU and K5ZD showing results over the entire history of CQ WW RTTY, even
before it was wholly sponsored by CQ Magazine. It is easy to see what
records you might strive for, whether it is worldwide or your local country
or state or call area. [www.cqwwrtty.com/scoresry.htm]

Photos & Stories -- Be sure to take some photos of your operation, even if
it is from home or what you consider a "non-exotic" QTH. Also, send along
any stories of your experience ... sort of like expanded soapbox comments.
