>Hi Dennis,

>My experience with learning code is: 2 months in signal school OctNov 1948. No prior typing. Up to 5 wpm code. By Dec 43wpm code groups letter perfect 15 minutes. Typing speed about 100wpm. Most of guys in my company typed about 120 wpm. world record then was about 130 wpm. At work our mills had a paper tape strip which one could turn on and read the tape visually if the speed got much above 65 wpm. So typing 100 wpm on a cmptr keyboard should not be too much of a problem. One has to be able to type in range of 100 wpm to be able to catch up. Practice practice. good luck
