[SCCC] ki6qdh / portable

I've done the same thing, Marty. I use my primary TQSL location for all
the contacts I make with W4EF that occur both in Los Angeles County and
the DM04 grid square. For situations where I operate portable in a
different county and/or grid square I create a different location in
TQSL so that stations that I work will get credit for the proper grid
square and/or county when I upload my logs to LOTW.
As an aside, now that I have operated in Canada I wonder if the process
is the same; or does it get more complicated when you operate from a
different DXCC country (I still have ~250 QSOs from my VE3 operation
that I need to upload to LOTW) ?.

If, for your own information, you want to track contacts made from a place other than your main station, you can easily create a new location using the TQSL program and select whichever one is appropriate each time you prepare a log for uploading to LoTW. If the new location is in a different grid square (for VHF and up),county (for county hunters) or state (for WAS), it's probably a good idea to set up that alternate location in TQSL. I have several locations set up for my home call, mainly due to my / UHF / microwave contesting. It's really easy to do; just open TQSL, click on Station and then on Add Location. Once that's' done, you will be prompted to select among the locations you have defined each time you go to digitally sign a log file.

I know this is not at my home address so do I need to sign portable 6 ?? If so then it leads me to wonder how can I upload this to logbook of the world? Would I have to have a new TQSL cdertificate, or can I create a new dxcc account with ki6qdh/6 ?? If I was lucky enough to work a new all time country does this count with my dxcc as ki6qdh?? I hope this could all just be a simple thing!! any coments would help.
