[SCCC] Congratulations to SCCC June VHF Winners

December QST and the ARRL Web site now have the final results of the ARRL June 2012 VHF Contest.  Congratulations go to:

Wayne N6NB for first place nationwide in the QRP Portable category (and for outfitting many of the rovers);

Art W6XD (+Chris ), Jim KI6FGV, Andre K6AH (+ XYL Sally), David N6HD, Jan WA6WTF(+Dave W6TE) and Dick K9AO for first through sixth place, respectively, in the Classic Rover category; and

the crew at N6VI multi-op (Scott N6MI, Steve WB2WIK, Joe K6ZMW, Barry KG6NWJ and Marty N6VI) for another national top-ten finish, this year moving up one notch to fifth place overall.

SCCC came in second in the Medium-Club aggregate competition, just 200k points shy of the North East Weak Signal Group.  In addition to the above-mentioned eight logs, 13 other SCCC members got on and submitted scores.  Thanks, all!
