I had several goals for this contest: 1.Get station ready for CQP
2. Work as many new one as possible. 3. Fill in band/countries and RTTY DXCC.
Everything worked Super FB! Ready for CQP. Work 12 new ones and LoTW will
tell how the rest worked out.
Wow! What great band conditions! 10 and 15 were open to EU from early morning
to late afternoon. Lots of east AF too. The numbers show where I played most of the
weekend. Activity was super with the bands pack to the raffters. What a joy to get
swamped by EU like I was the only CA station! High point was getting called
by a D2. Since CQP is coming this weekend I didn't want to tempt Murphy so I let BigAl
loaf at only 700-800 watts. 80M has been a real problem with the new tower so I gave
up on slopers and shunt loading the tower and put up a G5RV. It works great just
not that much activity this test.
RTTY contests are so EZ..Since I don't have to listen only watch the scope I could
listen to AM radio on an ear bud, enjoy a sandwich all while clicking the mouse.

CQP will NOT be so relaxed!
