All,
I'm swamped with 'too many projects' (like we all are) but hope to contribute something on the subject to Jim, later. Thank you Ken for sharing your information for the guys.

In the meantime, here are two sites where interested folks can go to see many pictures of various SO2R setups. You can spend a lot of time studying the various solutions to the ergonomic questions which arise. The Devil's in the details, of course, as to the engineering approach needed for cobbling together all the cables and boxes and stubs for doing this in any specific station.

I had recently exchanged e-mails with Ken about the design of his SO2R setups since I'm in the process of completely rebuilding my ham shack and am interested in the arrangement of multiple transceivers from an ergonomic point of view.

Some have experience as guest ops at a number of stations, so it'd be interesting hear about the variations they experienced and how it affected their efficiency. Also, has anyone used a gaming mouse with multiple controls as a substitute for keyboard shortcuts and mouse clicks?
