Comments:

Our station was much improved from last year with a better 6m antenna at twice the elevation. The number of QSOs increased significantly and the number of Mults doubled. How much of the difference that must be attributed to better propagation is difficult to determine.

Six meters was active from the moment the contest started. Several stations in Puerto Rico and one in Cuba were logged on Saturday afternoon.

Sunday morning brought Es from the Midwest and the Seattle area, as well as BC and Alberta in Canada.

A Honda generator replaced solar and batteries this year, making life easier. No more Armstrong antenna rotators. Both stations got computer logging.

It was nice and warm in the desert, with day-time highs of 107 and a night-time low in the high 70's.

A good time was had by all who survived...
