[SCCC] FT-847 with N1MM

Is anyone successfully using a Yaesu FT-847 with N1MM (current version)?
I'm trying to prepare for the VHF contest that starts tomorrow morning.

 

I cannot get the radio and the software to talk to each other.  I've tried
all the usual-baud rate set in '847 menu matches N1MM configuration.
Checked for hidden com port usage and have avoided those com ports.
