Comments:  I didn't think I would have as much time to play this weekend as
I did. All QSOs were S&P. There was a very nice opening to Europe Sunday
morning. I agree with N5ZO's assessment on some stations running two
pileups. You could definitely tell by the delay in them responding to your
call. A new era is dawning and those running one pileup are going to need to
play catch up. On a side note, I think the Euro guys had better ears on 15m
than the JA's this time around. The Euro guys could easily hear my peanut
whistle even if they were S0 on my end. The JA's often could not hear me
even if they were S3 or more. I've never run into that before. Not sure what
was up with OA4SS. He was commanding unruly pileups that were very large all
weekend. I finally found him without a pileup Sunday afternoon. Nice to work
Kurt W6PH at VP9. He too was commanding a huge pileup (albeit well
behaved!). I timed my call just right and suspect a familiar call sign won
the day.
