Some added incentive to jump into the on-going NS Ladder competition:
44 stations made 3830 reports last week, and a few others took part. If
was a vigorous and exciting 30 minutes of cw fun.
0230-0300Z, 20, 40, 80 and 160. (short rules below)
*Participation certificates*: Have spoken to a printer, and have just
minor design work to complete. You will definitely like these; may do in
two batches if we have 20 or more qualifying stations early in this ladder:
"Participants in the *25th NCCC Sprint Ladder, NSL **XXV,* will receive a
participation certificate consisting of a humorous cartoon featuring noted
NS Ladder personalities. Don't miss out!
To qualify:
-- Participate in four or more weeks of NSL XXV;
*OR*
-- Contribute 1500 or more points to the Ladder XXV;
*OR*
-- Submit an acceptable "Dog ate my homework" excuse to the Contest
Director, N6ZFO. An example of a good excuse: Participated in three other
ladders, but was gone on an expedition to P5 or Nunavit during ladder #25.
Perhaps saying your station was hit by a large sunspot is marginal.
