It was very sad to hear of Larry's passing.  He was a friend for many 
years, beginning when he lived in Redondo Beach about 1970.  On his way 
to school each morning, he would drive past my duplex in Manhattan Beach 
and call me on 20m SSB because he knew that's where I was listening.  He 
really made his presence known!  I visited him at Templeton several 
years ago.  He had fulfilled his dream of his own radio ranch.  We'll 
miss you, Larry.  Jim W6YA
