By the way, this information may be stale but according to ARRL, the relief
nets are operating on 3.815 and 7.188 MHz. If anyone has more current
information, please post it here. Thanks.

Subject: [SCCC] Puerto Rico Aid
If you're like me, you've been reading about and seeing on TV the plight of
our fellow Americans in Puerto Rico after two devastating hurricanes
obliterated the island. The people there need our help. Badly.
When the Red Cross called on Amateur Radio for 50 volunteers to go there to
help with communications, our fraternity responded quickly.

And we can do more.
Please consider donating to ARRL's Ham Aid Fund
https://www.arrl.org/arrl-donation-form
You can provide instructions on how you would like your donation to be used.
For example, I specified that I would like to have mine help our friends in
Puerto Rico.
I hope that you will join me in helping fellow Americans. Fellow humans.
Fellow families. ARRL is an IRS-designated 501(c)(3) organization holding
tax identification number 06-6000004. Contributions to ARRL are
tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
There is a strong likelihood that relief efforts will continue through next
weekend's California QSO Party. Please be cognizant and avoid relief net
frequencies. This weekend's NAQP SSB contest was rescheduled to avoid
interference with relief efforts. Let's do our part too next weekend and
avoid interfering with those efforts.
73, Dennis NE6I
