I agree with Glenn. AAA can do great things. I recently had an unusual 
registration problem. I called DMV and got the recording that all 
representatives were busy. I could leave my number and they would call 
back - in something over two hours. Instead, I went to AAA. They handled 
the problem in less than an hour. The people at AAA have a "back-door" 
number to DMV. This alone made the membership fee worth every penny.

The info about the dealer is right, also. If you trade in your car, they 
should be able to handle all the details there.
