[SCCC] Quiet Power Supply Recommendation?

Hello
Im using samlex sec1235 one on each radio. No radio noise, have made
modification for fan to run continuously on low speed, have never heard it
to go high speed after that. Low speed fan noise is fine.
I used to run my accessories from rs-12 linear power supply. Everything on
load was just 4-5 amps and power supply was so hot could not touch the
heatsink. After moving amps out of shack to other room for summer time that
accessory power supply was main heat generator in shack. I changed it to
rs-35 recently and now I can touch heat sink as it is bigger but it probably
still generates same amount of heat. I'm thinking to perhaps get rid of
that one too and just go samlex on accessories too, and already have 3rd one
on hand. Much less heat, space, weight, tolerable fan noise after mod, and
no radio noise.

Also used samlex supplies in zd8o, no problems there either, good reasonably
priced box.

Subject: [SCCC] Quiet Power Supply Recommendation?

Hi,

I've been using an MFJ-4245MV as the 12V power source for my transceivers
for a number of years. This model's RF noise performance was judged as one
of the best in ARRL Lab tests. However, its fans are annoyingly loud. I'm
considering going back to using my Astron linear-regulated supply.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a switching power supply in the 30A
range that is both RF noise quiet and is audibly quiet? Thanks.
