I've been using Astron SS30 and SS20 for many years. I modified the SS30
with a resistor to 12V to run its internal fan constantly at low speed.
This generally prevents the fan ever activating at full speed except
during RTTY contesting running K3 at 100W. The internal fan rarely
activates when driving an amp for RTTY.
The Astrons were chosen based on ARRL testing.
