New this month, I'm going to try publishing some Monthly News. It probably
won't be a full blown article but will be blurbs about various things having
to do with our club or contesting in general. It goes without saying that I
could use help from all of you. Send me your goings-on, pictures, things you
are up to, things you did recently, plan to do, heard someone was doing,
etc. Heck, if you want to write an editorial, a biography, an
auto-biography, equipment or software review, talk about your upcoming
effort or recent effort in a contest, or that sort of thing, I'd love to
publish it. 

 

It's our club, it's our web site. Let's get some things posted, shall we?!

 

And if you are looking for a contest fix this weekend, there are several
state QSO Parties going on. See the State QSO Party section of our home page
or the WA7BNM Contest Calendar.

 

If you are a VHFer or have been wanting to try it out, note that 6 meters
has had good Sporadic E openings this week. And it's only going to get
better in coming weeks. Much action on FT8 but some on CW and SSB as well.
This afternoon, there were some good north-south openings. Yesterday, the
band was open east-west and later north-south until 10 or 11 pm! The ARRL
June VHF Contest is just over a month away, so get things ready!
