Comments:

Set up portable in Santa Ynez for Santa  Barbara County.  Ran a K2-100 
to a 2
ele portable yagi at 20 feet, 40 meter dipole and a G5RV.
15 minutes before the QSO party began my power supply let out a puff of 
smoke.
Two caps ready to explode.  Switched from the fried Samlex 20 amp 
switcher to a
large Astron linear supply.  All was good for the rest of the weekend.  
Hard to
be heard with 100 watts at times.
Had fun.
