[SCCC] Means of Recording QSOs?

I second the choice to use Audacity.  It's a great recording program for 
everything.... music, whatever.  It works well for recording a contest 
in stereo or mono.  Just set it for 8000Hz, 16 bit, Med Quality.  mp3 
File sizes that  are created are very reasonable.  HOWEVER you can leave 
those files in Audacity's original .aup format to store, which are only 
about 1MB for 20 hours.  If you're required to hand over a mp3 file you 
can then make the conversion within Audacity.  You can vary the input 
recording level in Audacity as well as with your radio.   - Jim W6YA
