Rigs: My old ICOM all-mode monobanders for 6, 2, 222, 432 & 1296; Kenwood
TK-981 and Alinco DJ-G29T for 902

Antennas:  3 el. At 30' for 6m;  Triband vertical on the roof for 2, 432 and
1296; 4 el on a tripod for 222; short yagi on a tripod and HT whip for 902

 

Both LAX and SDg have been encouraging emcomm ops to get on in the contests;
worked quite a few new-ham callsigns.  Some were really getting into it,
which is great to see.
