Sorry to be late with my comments.

Yes, tower permits in Yavapai County are easy to obtain, just provide a
plot plan of your property, and current engineering plans and drawings of
your tower. The four towns: Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley and
Dewey/Humboldt within Yavapai can vary from not too difficult to very
difficult for tower permits.

I live in Yavapai County and have 4 permitted towers: a 100 ft Sky Needle,
70 ft and 55 ft crank up towers, and a MA77 tubular tower. No problem with
permits, just provide what they want. I did advise Tim, N6WIN of the
antenna situation within the County. That;s why he is 5 miles from the
Phoenix County line in Yavapai County.

Over the past 8 years, I have worked with the County officials and one
County Supervisor, who is a ham. Currently, towers are permitted to
200ft, *BUT,
*cannot be taller so they do not fall outside of your property lines. I
tried to get the Supervisor to include exemptions for towers up to 71 ft
for those on smaller property boundaries. He said he could not get any
exemptions included that would not have raised objection and would not have
passed the County Supervisors.

So, as for now, the Yavapai County area is still good for towers, excluding
HOAs and CC&Rs.

You are welcome to email me if you want to talk further.

Ray,
N6VR/W7YA

PS, I fled California in 2009 and love it here...
