[SCCC] NCJ article

I just finished reading Jim Neiger's recollections of 60's and 70's contesting in the current NCJ.  It is great reading especially for those of us who contested back in that time period.  At the end of the article Jim calls it the end of Part 1.  I am looking forward to Part 2.
 In the beginning he talks about being exposed to contesting at Field Day in 1955.  That was the same Field Day that I got hooked on contests.  It was in Pacific Grove by the Monterey Bay Radio Club W6UCS.  I was still a novice and I didn't get to operate.  But the bug was planted listening to the big guys making serial contacts one after another with all these neat places. I hope everyone enjoys the article as much as I did. Kurt W6PH
