Kurt, Same deal for me, but 1963 in Santa Maria, CA.  I got WN6DPV early in the year, but by FD I had upgraded to General and WB6DPV.  I can recall operating a Collins KWM-2 in FD with what is now the Satellite ARC (W6AB) at Vandenberg AFB.  What a treat THAT was!!  73Jim K6ZH Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone
