Dave, K6LL is in DM22qq, which is 252.1 miles from the center. There are some potential contesters in the Eastern part of Yuma in Grid Square DM22SQ which is 259.3 miles from the center. Bruce, N7TY is a contester in Grid Square DM22pq which is 248.6 miles from the center. Bruce is inside the circle and resigned from the AOCC at the same time that I did.
It would be really nice if the circle were adjusted just a little bit East to include all of Yuma.
Thank you for your consideration.

What a sacrilege, to have such a famous, old-time Southern California call as W6RW not able to contribute to Southern California scores! If we did adjust things, maybe we could also include K6LL, who is also reputedly in Yuma somewhere!! =8-D
Who else may be down there??

I resigned from the AOCC a couple of years ago and was happily planning on giving my CQ Contest scores to the SCCC of which I am a long time life member. I used to be in the 250 mile radius for CQ contests. I am now 250.2 miles from the center of Grid Square DM15bd which means that I now do not have a club to dedicate any of my scores to.

The previous 175-mile radius has been replaced with a 250-mile radius. As a result the SCCC has updated its club center to grid square DM15bd, which results in a club area covering a greater portion of southern California and Nevada. This new area will be used for both ARRL- and CQ- related club competitions and can be seen on socalcontestclub.org by clicking on the "Club Territory" link.
