Good thread as I'm also getting solar in the next couple of months also. I had thought a traditional single inverter at the meter/breaker box would be more RFI quiet compared to the Enphase micro-inverters, but it sounds like that's not the case?


Also, in re: "Check the energy efficiency rating of any electric furnace you're considering, then remember that you'll be using it most in the winter when there's less sunlight hitting your PV panels." I thought the way to look at it from the economics standpoint was to do it on an annual basis as in the summer you'll be generating more than you use (to make up for the lack of generation in the winter). In other words, the summer will offset the winter and it should even out, no?
