[SCCC] First HF Rig

My first rig—in 1994–was a Yaesu FT747GX bought off the demo-model shelf at
AES Milwaukee.
The rig was known for serious RF feedback issues, which weren’t helped by
running it into a G5RV through an MFJ 949E tuner. Apparently it also had a
messy signal that (figuratively)destroyed the front end of other radios at
our local FD. I took it into AES to try addressing the issue—before online
reviews and how-tos were prevalent—and they didn’t really do anything to
fix the problem.
