[SCCC] Voice keying audio files from PC with N1MM+ into FT-1000

Bob,
I would think any of the third party "digital interfaces" such as RigBlaster
and others would work. Many of them have microphone loop throughs so that
your normal mic or headset/boom mic continue to work with the interface in
bypass mode. And then when using N1MM+ (or other software) to transmit
audio, the interface device mutes the external mic and transmits the audio
from the PC instead.

Subject: [SCCC] Voice keying audio files from PC with N1MM+ into FT-1000
Hi guys,
.
I'm interested in setting up N1MM+ to work with my Yaesu FT-1000 and use the
voice keyer function of N1MM+ to play wav files from my PC (and later to use
the IC-7300 to do the same). (I'm not interested in using the built-in voice
keyer capability of the IC-7300.) My question is how can I get the audio
from my PC into the FT-1000? Has anyone done this before? Am I left with
only a homebrew method--making a break-out box for the PC audio output and
the mic input of the radio? (which I'd rather not have to do) Is there any
commercially made device that will allow me to plug in cables for the same
result? Thanks.
.

Bob NC6Q
