[SCCC] Computer Audio and the Icom 7610

I like Marko's idea of having the audio on the radio. I tried this with my 7100 as well during the QSO party, but with manually pressing the button on the radio.

Since WSJT is working and the USB audio is at 100%, you might try the volume mixer (right click on the volume icon in the taskbar). There you can set specific volumes for specific programs. My radio system is shutoff right now, so I can't tell if N1MM will be an option on there, but it would be possible for that to be at a lower output volume, independent of the general output for the port.

Beyond that, I'd say look at the device properties for the USB Audio (from within the sound control panel) and make sure you don't have anything odd set like enhancements, spatial sound, a low bitrate format, etc. That might be worth playing around with to see if different settings have an impact. For one radio data program I use that was an important factor for me, as was having the regular speakers as my default sound device and the USB Audio as my default communications device.

I've created audio files that were recorded at the appropriate level, but when played through the N1MM+ interface with the 7610, the level is significantly less than the audio from a microphone. I tried adjusting the various MOD level settings on the 7610, but varying them from 10% to 90% had no affect on the audio level. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
