I have the following “packages” for sale.
I’m based in south Orange County (CA) and willing to drive 90 minutes to meet and drop off these items.
If interested in any or require further details please reach out to w6png at yahoo.com. Pictures available.
a) SpiderBeam 41’ (12m) push up mast with quadpod base - $550 plus shipping
-
41’ used couple of times, mint condition and includes 4 point guy collar (small and larger) http://www.vibroplex.com/contents/en-us/p3549.html
-
4 leg quad pod XL that is a game changer for deployment (think Field Day, CQP etc) and also via a separate purchase the deployment of a rotator at the base of the 41’ mast) http://www.vibroplex.com/contents/en-us/p3554.html
I have used the 10m version, with quadpod and a Yaesu rotator many times and details can be seen here. https://nomadic.blog/2020/12/05/4-days-in-purgatory/ Used in earnest 2020 for CQP and given COVID social distancing expectations, taught myself to deploy my HexBeam using this setup single handedly.
German gear is never inexpensive but my experience of the SpiderBeam gear is very positive. Very well made, very rugged and once deployed seems very sturdy. Would you rather have a Beamer or a Dacia?
b) microHam SO2R “starter” package - $650 plus shipping
-
2 x microHAM Station Master. These sit between a station computer and a rig. Once setup these track band changes etc and enable control of bandpass filters, 2x6 switch etc. Very feature rich devices. New, never used, bought a couple of years ago during a COVID era induced flight of fantasy of turning my Jeep into a M/2 HP contest station. Build it and they will come…well maybe… .https://www.dxengineering.com/parts/moh-micro-sm
-
1 x SO2R controller micro2R - I used this a once away from home during my KX3 Suitcase DXPEdition “journey”. Works with major radio brands including Elecraft.https://www.microham.com/contents/en-us/d161_U2R.html
c) Fully loaded K3s - everything minus the 10Mhz frequency lock - $2950 shipping included
Bought new from Elecraft and all boards installed by Eleceraft. Rig was back at Elecraft for a routine inspection and tune up within last 12 months.. Seen light use as historically my interest lay in the KX3/KX2 for SOTA and DXPeditions. Works fine.
