Ron,
I believe it is NOT possible to communicate with N1MM+ through that USB port on side of K3/0-Mini. As far as I know that port is used for some commercial remote services only.

You can connect N1MM+ locally to COM1 on RRC box via USB-RS232 adapter and run N1MM+ in local computer instead of at station you are remoting to.

I just operated both ARRL DX SSB and WPX SSB contests this way, reason being that I used K4 remote system for other station and it requires one to use computer at control site and as I did 2 radio SO2R and my other station used K3-K3/0-Mini remote system via RRC boxes then that station also required N1MM+ to run at control site (I operate SO2R with 2 networked computers).

So just use RRC COM1 for this logging program connection.

Subject: [SCCC] Running an Elecraft K3/0-Mini Via USB Cable

I have a K3/0-Mini that works fine thru the RRC-1258 box.

However, I would like to run the control head using N1MM on my end of the connection. Plugging in the USB cable on the side of the control head creates TWO "USB Serial Ports" (not COM ports).
I'm told that they need a special driver file to make them into COM ports.
Does anyone have any input on this?

     Curiously,
        Ron
