My name is J. Scott Bovitz (bovitz.com). My call sign is N6MI (n6mi.com). I operate amateur radio contests from multiple California counties and grid squares in my converted television news van with a 56 foot pneumatic mast. I also participate in monthly all day transmitter hunts on 146.565 MHz. These hunts can take us to the deserts and mountains of the ten Southern California counties and, on rare occasion, to another state. In my slide show, I will share the adventure of no holds barred transmitter hunting. (Join us on a fourth Saturday, 10:00 a.m., on 146.565. MHz, starting from Ronald Reagan Park in Diamond Bar, just west of the Pathfinder exit on the 57 freeway. Or make a reservation at bovitz at bovitz.com and ride along in the back seat of my four wheel drive truck.)
