V9.89 4 June 2002
SDJ - Jubilee Contest.
Own-area Commonwealth QSOs now score zero points
and will not count as multipliers. Your own call
area does not appear in any worked/wanted windows.
An updated BERU.CTY is supplied to give positive
identification of non-Commonwealth stations.
SD and SDC (Commonwealth Contest) have been
updated to work correctly with the new BERU.CTY
file. To use SD in the Jubilee Contest, select
Type 9, BERU.CTY, Variable points, Points vary
by location (0,5,5 representing Own Country, Own
Continent, and Other Continents).
SD - QTCs in WAE (DARC - Worked All Europe).
Reception and logging of QTCs by EU stations is
supported. The QTC command brings up a window for
recording QTCs. They can be edited before being
logged to NAME.QTC where NAME is the name of your
.ALL contest log.
SD tracks the number of QTCs received, if any,
from each station logged. It displays the
remaining number possible/required, in real-time
above the callsign field, as you type individual
callsign letters.
This applies even when the call entered is a
potential dupe - you can still complete your QTC
quota from that station.
When entering QTC times, an empty field followed
by Enter repeats the previous time, and a 2-digit
number repeats the previous hour.
SD - Type 10: Country and Area Multipliers.
IN callsigns of the form W1AW/FAI, where the
suffix identifies a county, the suffix is ignored
for the purpose of identifying the country.
SDCHECK - Cabrillo Logs.
The EMAIL: tag is now used for your email address,
and the CREATED-BY: tag for SD and SDCHECK version
numbers.
RSGB CW Field Day.
This contest has no multipliers, but SD tracks new
countries worked on each band. If SD was re-started
the record of countries previously worked was lost.
Fixed.

Please let me know what you'd like to see in the next update.
IMPORTANT: Keep copies of the programs you're using now,
as insurance!
If you're nervous about using a new version of SDJ at this
stage, then use the one you already have, but don't mix
the new BERU.CTY with an earlier version of SDJ. A reminder
that Commonwealth entrants can work everyone, excluding their
own call area. In this contest, all of the British Isles
(apart from EI) is one call area.
