[SD-User] SDI CW Keying from Win98

I have just set up my HP Omnibook P450 with 160Mb of ram running Win98 fot
IOTA next weekend. SDI V 10.01. Everything except CW keying from
serial/parallel port is working perfectly.
When keying, the CW slows down after a character or two and 'slurs' the
characters until the end of the buffer. This happens regardless of initial CW
speed and can happen if the first character is a 9 or zero. There are no other
windows programs running at startup.
If I start windows then shutdown and restart in dos mode everything works
okay. I have checked the dos memory settings and they are all set to auto.
Is there anyway I can use SDI from within Win98 as there are other windows
programs I would like to run at the same time?
Any thoughts appreciated.
Thanks and see you in the contest,
Jim
