Firstly thanks to Paul for the support in the past. I came on line to  update 
my old V9.28 and found the world had changed!
 
Now running V10.15 DOS with satisfaction after some exploration. However  one 
day I will have to get onto Windows and therein lies a problem today. I have  
picked up enough info to appreciate that keying through Windows is a pain for 
 nearly everyone. I am using Win98 in the shack and although the keying 
generated  is fine it becomes very cranky indeed when delivered to the rig. the 
worst  aspect is that every message starts with a long dash. I really do not want 
 to build another box (WinKey I believe) to clutter the station so has anyone 
out  there found another way of improving the keying?
