V13.37 13th February 2008
LZ Open:
In the LZ Open, it's OK to work "dupes" if they're
more than 30 minutes old. The Check Partial window
now ignores any older QSOs. If, having typed two
or more prefix characters, the window is clear, you
know the call will not be a dupe.
Previously, you had to type the full call for the
purpose of dupe checking.
A new window displays a countdown of the time until
stations previously worked can be worked again.
Any call you hear that's not already in this window
cannot be a dupe - unless you've logged more than
40 QSOs in the last half hour. It also serves as
a reminder to chase calls as their remaining time
drops to zero. Thanks G3LET.
FOC Marathon:
On typing a membership number, SD now immediately
flags a potential dupe - there is no need to press
Enter to first transfer the callsign to the logging
line.
Restored the dupe warning after entering a member's
number - when both the callsign and the number were
4 characters long. Thanks G4BJM.
WinKey Speed Change:
Broken code in V13.36 meant that speed changes from
WinKey's pot were sometimes ignored. Fixed. Thanks
IZ2EZU. Note that, in general, speed changes are
supported only from the Callsign field.
In Keyboard CW mode, toggled with Ctrl, speed changes
with the Up and Down arrow keys are now supported,
but not with WinKey's pot.
SD polls WinKey, in a similar way to polling the
rig, to get WinKey's status and pot position. SD
and WinKey are more responsive to speed changes
when POLLTIME and LINKTIME are minimised.
If you're not using rig control, set POLLTIME to 50
and LINKTIME to 20. With rig control, use the
fastest BPS supported by your rig, and set POLLTIME
and LINKTIME to the lowest values that maintain
control.
Country .CTY Prefix & Multiplier files:
Updated - up to and including all published
corrections by AD1C to 12th February.
PACC - Cabrillo:
Simplified the Cabrillo option in SDCHECK for both
sides.
