[SD-User] SD 13.40a: broken ?

Hello !
I have just downloaded SD 13.40, the install window says it will install ver 13.40a. 
Something must be wrong in my setting, because SD starts, I can choose the
contest file, then I can go through the first screen, but then SD freezes.
Tried 2 or 3 install, but always the same behaviour.
Any idea ?
