F1 doesn't change the current band for logging.  It
can be used, however, for changing the band on QSOs
previously logged.

That should have worked, and will be fixed for the
next version.  B20 etc. works.  It is described in
the "Changing Band or Mode" section of the manual,
and in the Feature Summary (last page).
