V17.50 13 November 2014

All Contests:
Broken code (in V17.48), related to recording your
score in a header record, caused the callsign from
the last QSO in the log to replace your own call
     in header record 2.

This had several effects. SDCHECK listed this,
incorrect, call in every Cabrillo QSO record, and
ignored any QSOs with the same call. When a log
was reloaded, SD removed (deleted) any QSOs with
this call (invariably the last QSO, but there
could be others) due to "own call" QSOs being
treated as unwanted QSOs (see V17.46).

     Fixed, thanks SM5BKK.

FOC Call Reference File:
This has been renamed from FOC.LST to FOC-SD.LST,
and was needed to distinguish it from files of
the same name intended for other contest loggers.

V17.49 12 November 2014

ARRL SS:
The Precedence field could not be edited in
previously logged QSOs. Fixed, thanks WA9AQN.

Templates updated - you are now asked for your
Precedence, Check and Section when starting a
new log, rather than the previous "Fixed
     Exchange".

SD is free from ei5di.com - please encourage other
contesters to try it. One option that works well
is to leave a few words of support at eham.net.

You can see the reviews at
http://www.eham.net/reviews/detail/522

To add your own, follow the "add your own review"
link immediately above the most recent review. You
may need to register with eHam to do this.

The simplest way to download or update SD is to
click on the "SD by EI5DI" logo at ei5di.com.

When you install a new version of SD, you may have
to adjust the size of the default window to fill
your screen. If necessary, do this for both SD and
SDCHECK.

Click on the title bar, or the SD icon, at the top
LHS of the window and select Properties, then Font.
If you have a widescreen (16:9) monitor, select the
Lucida Console font. For a 4:3 monitor, select the
Consolas font (not available on XP). Then choose
whatever size of font you prefer. SD's window
expands or contracts in direct proportion to the
chosen font size.

If you find bugs in V17.50, please send me the
details - pokane at ei5di dot com. Older versions
are not supported, so please confirm that the
problem exists in V17.50.

Please let me have your suggestions for changes
or additions, or support for new contests.

73,
Paul EI5DI
