Hello all...have included a large listing to make sure and get all that are
interested...there will be a multi-multi operation from NQ4I/W4KZ this
October...still need a few operators...so far have heard from
AA4LR,K4BAI,W4DD,W4SVO,KZ5M,KA6SAR,KD3UC,and K4PK.....now is the time to
get on board...we will have a great time...condx will not be as good as the
past year or so, but it will be sufficient to keep us occupied and going...

I have my plate full fixing things after the lightning damage a couple
weeks ago...a TS-930 was totaled out...not able to be repaired and the
insureance (replacement ) fixed me up with another 1000mp...lost all 6
network cards in the computers and will be getting that up and going
soon...both ring rotors suffered damage and Jeff is working hard on
them...lost 2 rcs8 switches...one has been replaced and Jeff is working on
the control box for the last one...one of the
wattmeters at the 80m station was damaged...Jeff is working on that
also...I have to install a new clamping mechanism and shear bolt in the 80m
beam....as soon as the ring rotors are fixed have to re-install the motors
on both towers...I am looking at the possibility of a 2nd station on
40m...have a second 40m yagi and we may use a boom truck to put it up
temporarily at 85 ft for the contest...this would allow us to cq on 40m and
work mults on the 2nd station....will need another amp for this
concept....and possibily another mp.....would like to hear from anybody
else who can operate either full time or part time...let me know what you
are willing to do...de Rick
