Thanks for the suggestions!

I think you are right; the rules aren't bad.  We will be looking at the =
date (I don't think it conflicts with another major contest, but want to =
make sure) and also at some ideas for better publicizing the event.  We =
are already lagging behind because some other concerns came up at our =
last club function, so I guess until we find out if this is going to be =
handled by the club or not, Allan and I need to get started with it on =
our own. =20

We'll think about the jug of molasses (I'm too lazy to look up the s =
word for proper spelling...sorghum?)...it's sad not to know of something =
that AL is known for...like salmon for the WA "Salmon Run"...perhaps =
next year we'll be able to get some sponsors to help us out with better =
prizes, but we are agreed that some sort of prize should be offered. =20

At any rate, keep the suggestions coming...they are appreciated!
