Well, I got the 40M beam finished and re-installed along with the X9.
I only cranked up the tower a little, with the X9 at at 40ft. and the
new 40M at 48 ft. Worked fine for a domestic contest. No 80 or 160
antennas, but made a couple Qs with about 15 watts into the 40M beam.

Started S&P on 10-15-20 to get mults, since it was already 2230Z when
I first got on. I got a couple good 1/2 hour runs on 40, but didn't
push too hard. Once again, AA4LR provided the GA multiplier on all six
bands. Also worked W4OC, K4NO, K4IQJ, KA9EKJ, W4WA and N4DU.

The antenna project, plus the need to replace a broken garage door
opener, took a lot of time away from the contest. Total time on was
just under three hours.
