Hope conditions on the other bands were better than 40:

First night was not good enough to get any real rate to Europe, and no pr=
opagation over the pole to JA and the Far East. Fortunately, the skew/lo=
ng path was good enough to partially make up for the problem. My best "bu=
rst" of rate was about 20 minutes to JA and Zones 17-18-19 beaming long p=
ath (SW) just before sunrise. More than 62% of QSOs were made in the seco=
nd 24 hours.

The good news was that the station was really working. I am pretty happy=
with my score using just a "shorty forty" at 75 feet (although my four B=
everages were the really important antennas). =20

Biggest double-take was having both 9M6A and 9M6NA active (I got them bot=
h).
